Can I bring a plus one / my kids?

We are only able to accommodate the guests who are listed on your invitation. Please do not substitute guests.

Where should I park?

Black Ankle has a large unpaved lot. There will be plenty of parking available for all guests.

What should I wear?

Please wear semi-formal attire. No polos or jeans, please.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding, cocktail hour, and dinner will take place entirely outdoors, either on Black Ankle’s grassy areas or patio. Black Ankle has a small building with a seating area and restrooms for those who may need an escape from the Maryland heat. For people who are planning on wearing heels, we recommend a chunkier heel or a flat for a more comfortable experience.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes, there will be an open bar starting with the cocktail hour and lasting until our cap has been reached. Once the cap is reached the bar will turn into a cash bar.

Will there only be wine?

For alcoholic beverages, yes, Black Ankle’s liquor license only allows for their wine to be consumed on the premises. Outside alcohol is not permitted. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available, including sodas, water, and non-alcoholic beer.
